level A and B group officials to improve their efficiency in Administration is A & B wing Foundational Course Training Institute at Anna Institute of Management.

Imparting Foundational Course Training was started in 1976 at Civil
Service Training Institute, Bhavanisagar. |
|
Thereafter this training institute was
shifted from Bhavanisagar to Chennai in 1999 to function under the overall control
of the Director Anna Institute of Management and the Director General of Training.
The Foundational Course Training imparted in the
institute enables

the officer to improve efficiency and to upgrade knowledge
which is essential to make the administration function effectively.
